Cookies Policy
Updated 11 June 2026This policy explains how the Joint Operations App uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and service workers), and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies — like browser local storage and the app’s service worker — let the app remember information between visits. We use them to keep you signed in, to make the app work offline, and to understand how the app is used.
The types we use
- Strictly necessary — keep you signed in, secure your session, remember which workspace you chose, and enable offline use (the PWA service worker and cache). The app cannot function without these.
- Preferences — remember choices such as your last-used role so the app loads the right experience.
- Analytics & performance — help us understand how the app is used so we can improve reliability and usability. These are only set where permitted.
What we do not do
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies to third parties.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data through your browser settings, and you can remove the installed app from your home screen at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop core features (such as staying signed in and offline use) from working.
